The baby-faced son of German council to the U.S. Nico Krull has traveled the world way more than an average twenty year old. Luckily for GOSEE Nico keeps a list of his favorites in various cities around the world.
The most relaxing vacation Nico’s ever been on was at The Parker Palm Springs in California. When in LA, Nico likes to stop by the Andaz West Hollywood where “rooftop pool has unbelievable views of both the Hollywood hills and downtown Los Angeles.”
As for LA dining, Nico recommends Yamashiro Hollywood, not only for the traditional Japanese menu but also for the “stunning views of the entire city”. Nico is “obsessed with seeing cities from above” and loves watching the sunset over the City of Angels from the world famous Griffith Observatory.
When in NYC, Nico likes to stay at the Tribeca Grand: “Step out the front door and you’re smack in the center of the city.” Favorite restaurants in New York? EN Japanese Brasserie, The Little Owl, Numero 28.
According to Nico, another spot with amazing views is Juvia in Miami, complete with Art Deco furniture and the clientele that Miami Beach brings with it.
Nico’s Berlin Picks:
"I love the Neni Berlin in the new Bikini Haus in Berlin, because you have amazing views of the city that are rare to come by. Also, the way the menu is laid out, most dishes are meant to be shared, resulting in a very social evening.”
If you’re going for Coffee, the Café Grosz is always worth a visit. Situated on Berlin’s main shopping street - Kurfürstendamm - stop by for coffee, tea, or just to people watch.
Some more of Nico’s favorite hotels around the world:
This summer Nico is living and working in the Hamptons with the prominent American theatre director and playwright Robert Wilson.

Leyna Ramous by Antoine Verglas.
A self-proclaimed lover of life and NYC, Leyna doesn’t drink much coffee but adores almond croissants from La Colombe Torrefaction.
Leyna’s been “fortunate to dine in great places all around the city”, her favorite being the LES Scandinavian seafood restaurant Skàl which she helped develop with her boyfriend.
Leyna’s favorite workout is “dancing while having fun” and her favorite movie of all time is 1983 sensation Flashdance. What a feeling!
